Christus Vincit for High School Students

You're at the right place to learn about our groups - and special events - for high school students!

Welcome to Christus Vincit and Teen Chosen Bible Study!

Christus Vincit is our group for high school students.  And Teen Chosen is our high school Bible study.  We meet at Our Lady of Grace on occasional Sunday nights to talk about our faith and issues of society, to eat, and to build relationships with other Catholic high school students.  Fr. Josh Hill, Parochial Vicar for Our Lady of Grace, leads the group along with Ron Kramer, our youth minister.  Teen Chosen is led by Ron and Vanessa Kramer.  High school students from all schools and parishes are welcome.

There's no need to sign up to be a member of Christus Vincit or Teen Chosen Bible Study, and you don't have to attend every event.  Come when it fits your schedule.  If you use Instagram, follow us at @OurLadyOfGraceMinot for announcements or email us and we'll add you to our notification list.  We have a Flocknote texting group that helps keep students informed of what's happening next.  Give us your contact information and we'll add students (and parents if you wish) to the notification list.

Here's a calendar of our events for the 2023-2024 school year.  NOTE:  The Ski Trip is incorrect on the calendar.  It was changed to Feb. 24.

Steubenville Conference St. Paul - July 2024

The Diocese of Bismarck will be hosting a bus trip to St. Paul, MN, for the annual Steubenville Conference.  Students having completed the 8th grade through Spring 2024 high school graduates are eligible to attend.  The theme this year is "illuminate".  This conference provides teens an exciting opportunity to encounter God in a whole new way.  It features nationally known speakers, workshops, awesome music, adoration, daily Mass, and the ability to share the love of Jesus with other teens.  Registration opens on February 14 through the Diocese of Bismarck website:  https://bismarckdiocese.com/steubenville.  Cost is $300/youth, $200/chaperone, which covers registration, transportation, lodging and most meals.  Cost share is available based on need.  The bus will be picking up in Minot at the Our Lady of Grace parking lot on Thursday, July 25, and returning Sunday, July 28.  For more information, contact Ron Kramer at 701-340-6126 or check out the diocesan website.  This trip will fill fast, so please don't delay registering!

SEARCH for Christian Maturity

SEARCH for Christian Maturity is a weekend retreat experience sponsored by the Diocese of Bismarck. The weekends are for any high school or college age person at least 15 years old. The program is both rooted in the Catholic faith and open to young people of any denomination or creed. Search weekends are held 5 times throughout the year and are held at the Badlands Ministries Camp just south of Medora, ND.  For more information, visit the Diocese of Bismarck website at this link.

Cor Christi Institute, July 2024

Cor Christi ("The Heart of Christ") invites high school students to a living encounter with Jesus and the foundational teachings and practices of the Catholic faith.  This initiative was born from the desire of a group of young priests and other dedicated believers to offer a new generation - through an intensive summer experience - the basics of the adventure of faith.  You may choose one of the two sessions, either July 8-12 or July 15-19, 2024.  To find a printable registration form, visit this page of the University of Mary website.  A letter of recommendation from our pastor, Fr. Adam Maus, must accompany each registration form, so please submit your completed form and payment to Tanya in the Faith Formation office and she will send it in with the letter.
