Altar Society
About Us
All women of the parish are Altar Society members.
It is the mission of Our Lady of Grace Altar Society to promote the spiritual life of the women of Our Lady of Grace Parish; to promote true Christian charity, the love of God, our neighbor, and Christian family life; to foster love for the house of God; and to labor for its care and adornment.
The Altar Society at Our Lady of Grace is a very active group within the parish. Each year substantial donations are given for needs at Our Lady of Grace Church as well as in our Catholic community.
Perhaps one of the most rewarding acts of service for the Altar Society is to cook and serve funeral luncheons to the family and friends of a deceased member of Our Lady of Grace Parish.
The Altar Society meets on the first Tuesday in the months of September, October, November, February, March, April and May. December’s meeting is our annual Christmas celebration, which includes a potluck lunch.
For more information, please call the parish office at 839-6834.
