Confirmation Mass and Parish Service Opportunities

The Confirmation Mass is on Sunday, May 12 (Mother's Day), at 10:30 a.m.  Students and Sponsors must arrive by 9:30 a.m. for professional photos and final instructions.  There are two options for the rehearsal:  either Thursday, May 9, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. followed by confessions OR Saturday, May 11, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. followed by confessions.  If you want a sheet to follow for the confession format, you will find it here.  Sheets will also be available at rehearsal.  Here is information about what to wear: 

Attire:  This is a momentous occasion in your life as a Catholic.  Please dress appropriately.  Young men should wear a shirt with a tie and dress pants and dress shoes, if possible.  Young women should wear a dress or nice outfit with skirt or pants.  Please dress modestly, ensuring that skirts/dresses are not too short (not shorter than your fingers when arms are at your sides) and that shoulders are covered.  No blue jeans, t-shirts, tennis shoes, strapless dresses or spaghetti straps, please.  Your Sponsor should follow the same dress code.  There is a picture of last year's Confirmation class next to my office door, if you want to see what was worn.

To volunteer to fill an open spot, please contact Tanya in the Faith Formation office by email or by parish phone (701-839-6834), through her cell phone which you may have in your contacts, or through our Flocknote texting system.  To report your service hours, complete an orange Service Hours slip (they are in your binder, and are hanging on the wall in the classroom hallway.)  Complete the orange slip and slide it under Tanya's office door (St. Gabriel classroom), or turn it in at our next class.  Below, those who already volunteered are noted in GREEN.  If you see any mistakes or need to make changes, please contact Tanya.
