Confirmation Preparation and Service Opportunities

At Our Lady of Grace, students in grade 9 and higher may prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation. Classes are held Wednesday evenings from September through April, with one remaining class the following September.  The 2026-2027 calendar will be posted soon.

In addition to attending Confirmation class, students do acts of service in two categories: Mass and Parish Activities. As service opportunities become available, they are posted on this page, and students may volunteer for service by contacting our Faith Formation Coordinator.

Students enrolling in Confirmation preparation for the 2026-2027 school year may begin tracking their service in the summer of 2026.

Sept. 16 Interviews for those being confirmed Sept. 27

Interviews for our current Confirmation students (who will be confirmed on Sunday, Sept. 27) are set for Wednesday, Sept. 16, between 5:00 and 6:30 p.m. and will be conducted by Fr. Adam Maus and Fr. Eric Artz.

Opportunities to Volunteer

During the school year, opportunities are added weekly, so please check this page frequently.

To volunteer to fill an open spot, please contact Tanya in the Faith Formation office by email or by parish phone (701-839-6834), or through her cell phone which you may have in your contacts, or through our Flocknote texting system.  To report your service hours, complete an orange Service Hours slip (they are hanging on the bulletin board at the end of the classroom hallway and will be in your student binder.) Complete the orange slip and slide it under the Faith Formation offices door (in the lower level classroom hallway, across from the elevator), or turn it in at our next class. Please do not keep them very long, because we want to record service as it is completed so that you don't forget what service you have done.
