Confirmation at Our Lady of Grace

Confirmation Preparation and Service Opportunities

At Our Lady of Grace, students in grade 9 and higher may prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation.  Classes are held Sunday evenings from October through April, with one remaining class in September.  The class calendar is here.

Registration is now closed for Confirmation for the 2025-2026 school year.  Please email the Faith Formation office for information.

In addition to attending Confirmation class, students are required to perform acts of service in two categories:  Ministries during Mass and Service during Parish Activities.  As service opportunities become available, they are posted on this page, and students may volunteer for service by contacting Tanya Watterud, our Faith Formation Coordinator.

Opportunities to Volunteer:  Opportunities are added weekly, so please check this page frequently.
To volunteer to fill an open spot, please contact Tanya in the Faith Formation office by email or by parish phone (701-839-6834), or through her cell phone which you may have in your contacts, or through our Flocknote texting system.  To report your service hours, complete an orange Service Hours slip (they are in your class binder, and are hanging on the wall in the classroom hallway.)  Complete the orange slip and slide it under Tanya's office door (St. Gabriel classroom), or turn it in at our next class.  Please do not keep them very long, because we want to record service as it is completed so that you don't forget what service you have done.

Steubenville Conference, St. Paul, MN:  The Diocese of Bismarck coordinates buses of students to attend this annual event for high school students.  The dates are July 24-26, 2026.  Watch for more information as it becomes available.  You'll earn 1 Mass and 2 Parish Service hours for attending.
