Faith Formation classes resume
Wednesday Jan 3, 2018 All day
We're still in the Christmas Season, but our Faith Formation classes resume on Wednesday, January 3, with gr. K-5 classes at 4:00 and 5:30 PM, and gr. 6-8 classes at 7:00 PM. This gives us an opportunity to reflect on the birth of Jesus at a time when much of the secular world has already tucked the decorations of the Season into plastic bins to store until next Advent. We're so blessed that the Church celebrates longer than one day!

Family Faith Night Amazing Race: "Have Courage"
Wednesday Jan 31, 2018 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Join us at the annual FAMILY FAITH NIGHT AMAZING RACE on Wednesday, January 31, where you'll get to meet the saints! Like last year, parishioners will be dressed as saints and you'll "race" to learn who is who. Unlike last year, these will be different saints, so the event will be familiar yet new! The afternoon begins with our 4:00pm Faith Formation classes as usual, followed by this family event! There are two groups for this celebration -- the first is from 5:00-6:30pm (beginning right when 4:00pm Faith Formation ends) and the second is 5:30-7:00pm (to correspond with the 5:30pm class time). Sunday Faith Formation families are invited, too! Please choose the time that works best for you. Families will eat a free meal in the dining room, and then receive instructions for completing the Amazing Race. There will be prizes, food, activities and fun! Stop by the Prayer Station during the Amazing Race to say a Prayer for the Poor to help us raise funds for the Food Pantry. This is a family event, so at least one parent or grandparent must accompany each family of children. Other members of the parish who do not have children in Faith Formation are welcome to join us, too, to see the saints!
